It had been a very hectic week in and out of the ring. Hot off of his win against the Empire of Blood to win the World Tag Team Championship Titles with perhaps the man he abhors most in the entire company, Ripplemagne had no shortage of crises barraging him. And it started small only to grow more and more as time dragged on...
But where to start?
First, there was Napalm, his obligatory tag team partner in their reign for the titles. These two had a short, but intense history over those very titles. It was the Hell Hounds, Napalm and Vengeance, who were the reason for the deus ex machina that was Ripplemagne and The Tang. They came at Extreme Extravaganza and ushered into a renaissance for the tag team division where they became figure heads of tag team wrestling, world wide.
They were never beaten as a tag team and, to this day, Ripplemagne remains undefeated in Global Extreme Wrestling. But both Ripplemagne and his partner and crime experience injury in the same time frame. After having saved his friend, Sarah Warner, at the hands of The Hell Hounds, Napalm enacted vengeance by ambushing Ripplemagne and putting him in a coma.
When he returned, his debut match was along side that very man and to make matters worse, it was against one of his few friends backstage. And she was injured. And it was that very much that put her out of commission, leaving one less warrior available to derail the inner circle that was Chelsea Reed and her minions.
But, surely, the Empire of Blood would still man the front lines against this inner circle, right? Right? Surely, Ripplemagne wasn't alone in the resistance.
But no, it truly was an empire of blood at the end of Chaos last week. The only other potential general of the Empire of Blood was left hanging from the rafters with his eyelashes sagging as much as his toes. Sah'ta Thor was dead.
Oh, but it's not over there. Not only was he booked against a new comer as the welcoming committee, but after he won, the jovial lad was hammered with enough force to be symbolic of that night's deceased's surname. It was like the Mjolnir met a collision course with the back of Ripplemagne's neck, granulating his entire spinal cord and sending vibrations through his entire brain. And that was just how he felt, mentally.
It was during this time that he remembered Prince Poo of the SNES classic, Earthbound and his training. It was like he had to give up all of his senses and die just to transcend. And, here, he was, singing "One" by his favorite band, Metallica despite having never served in the armed forces.
But much of this was overshadowed by the fungal growth stemming from home. The petite superstar's own brother, the man responsible for his interest in wrestling, and his wife were hospitalized over the Labor Day weekend. On vacation that week, they took their fourwheeler out and it locked. They swerved to avoid a tree, but suffered excruciating injuries. Broken ribs, dislocated shoulder, shattered collar bone, swollen spleen... among other things. But in his prayers, he thanked Jehovah in the Kingdom of Heaven that they were alive and would recover.
Of course, family meltdowns originated from this atrocity, leading to Ripplemagne taking arms against members of his own family and leading a civil war amongst the family that would, eventually, lead to several individuals being disowned. He couldn't even bother to recall all of the details of his war on narcissism.
But in this time, he had to fly back to New York from Texas during the week and didn't get any time to settle in before having to go back on the road for the next show.
And now? They were putting him in his first hardcore match ever. And it seemed that this match type took its bearing on Ripplemagne before it even began. It was like the level of violence that this match type produces was lingering with him for some reason. And he struggled to keep it contained....

A bark fills the audio as the Movie Trailer is where we find our setting. Here, we see a slender young lad in a white tank top and faded, boot cut jeans. The ever defining long, wavy champagne hair of the porcelain-skin enigma waves from the wind wafting through the cracked open window. For once, his hands are actually bare as his only arm accessory is a beaded wrist band to form the Italian flag.
And here, his hands are reaching down to what seems to be a rather energetic orange/white Pomeranian pup. When he stopped into New York, it became apparent that there was no one to watch over his brother's dog and with Ripplemagne being a rather active animal lover, he didn't mind bringing him along.
But there was something odd. Ripplemagne was... laughing... in spite of all of the adversity?
It seems our thoughts superimpose themselves in the mind of Miss Sarah...
Miss Sarah:
"You alright, hun?"
With Kimbo, the small Pomeranian, attempting to lick the lad's face and gnaw on his fingers, Ripplemagne manages to play keep away with his own hands while playfully wrestling the dog. Upon inquiry, however, Ripplemagne responds, but still doesn't face the camera...
Ripplemagne:
"Quite. Why?"
Miss Sarah:
"Well, with everything going on, I would imagine that you'd be a little distraught."
Ripplemagne:
"I don't need to let negativity consume me to manage it. I believe it's called: Dealing with it."
Standing up, Ripplemagne slowly turned to The White Mage filming to reveal white and pink face paint adorning his entire demeanor. It was an all white coating with pink imagery over the eyes that seemed to pay homage to Baby Dogg... or Sah'ta Thor... or both... with harlequin designs. The nose had a long triangular streak going up to mock the nose of a lion, which formed a cross when it got to the point between his eyes. And beneath his black painted lips were two matching pink fang designs to further the lion-esque appearance of it.
Ripplemagne:
"Besides. I watched Pete's Dragon about eighteen times while making photo copies of my butt on the Xerox machine last night and that always puts me in a good mood."
Facepalm.
